It follows the life of Ghengis Khan from a young age, to leader of the clans. The boyhood of Khan was marked by death and dislocation.

Absolutely incredible, particularly the first one. I’ll never think like Ghengis Khan and the author didn’t try to force that point.

And on top of that his writing is such that you LIVE the story and era. He follows them with a huge army and almost wipes them out.
