The test is annne to determine into which school the student will be placed and Aerin is accepted into Academy 7, though she hides a secret that could get her not only into trouble with the school, but returned to the non-Alliance planet where she was a slave; she’s not a member of the Alliance.

I was uncertain whether this would be the type of book I could connect with, or derive enjoyment from reading. When is the third one coming out?! I have trouble believing in this world. Set in a futuristic society similar to Earth, Aerin Renning is a seventeen-year-old orphan trying not to appear needy.

When I say YA fiction can be astounding, this is the type of novel I’m talking about! There story seamlessly merges with the fictitious world the author has created, that you are drawn into. I have a thing about books with spaceships and planets and space and stuff.
